What you’ll do
Help small groups of kids bring their game ideas to life. You’ll guide them through challenges, celebrate their wins, troubleshoot the occasional stubborn bug, and make sure everyone feels supported and excited to keep creating.
Work with a local Seattle nonprofit helping kids build creativity, confidence, and tech skills
We provide paid coding and classroom training in our tried-and-true method! You don’t need to come in as an expert
A natural fit around college, freelance work or another job
Earn $28–31/hour after the quarterly completion bonus and get paid for all training time

You enjoy encouraging kids, celebrating their wins, and helping them work through the tricky stuff. Camp counseling, coaching, tutoring, or other experience working with kids is a big plus.
You don’t need to be an expert! Genuine excitement about games, coding, tech, art, or making things is what we’re looking for
We provide paid training for all the rest! What matters to us is a passion for learning, and an ability to help students develop that passion

Our students’ safety is a big deal to us. We take a few extra steps to make sure every teacher we hire is someone we feel great about welcoming into our community
All teachers must pass a comprehensive background check before working with students
We’ll ask for personal and/or professional references—and yes, we really do contact them!
Every teacher is expected to follow our safety policies, maintain appropriate boundaries, and help create a safe, positive space for every student
